A passion for beauty
Meet Yvonne:
Yvonne is a hair and makeup artist and owner of Top Tier Beauty LLC. Getting her start at the Clinique beauty counter part-time, she has been in the industry for over 10 years. At the Clinique counter she was tasked with matching foundations and helping women of all skin tones and conditions create skincare routines. Before that she always knew she loved all things beauty , but once immersed in the world she was sure this was where she belonged. After working there for only 6 months Yvonne enrolled in cosmetology school and left her corporate job of 7 years to pursue her passion full time.
After graduating beauty school and obtaining her license, Yvonne started renting out a chair in a salon. She quickly gained a reputation for having amazing hair and makeup services and became an in demand artist. She then made a connection with another hair and makeup artist who owned a bridal business and fell in love with that. Special occasion hair and makeup made Yvonne’s love for the industry grow even more. Being a part of someone’s special day made her feel special and grateful to be involved.
Yvonne created Top Tier Beauty LLC to be there for brides and persons of all backgrounds. But she especially noticed a lack of women of color who specialized in weddings and special occasions.While most beauty brands have made strides to be inclusive, many local bridal agencies have not. We all deserve to feel like a queen for the day. So, from the deepest complexion to the lightest we will serve as the professionals that will make your dream look a reality!
